Geneva in Autumn

I was fortunate enough to take a little break at the end of October into the first week of November.

My husband and I went to Geneva, Switzerland for a couple of days. I was so happy with how cold it was there, compared to the heat of over 30°C in Bahrain, that I slept with the windows open throughout the night. Well, also they didn't have air conditioning in the hotel.

The staff at the hotel informed us that it's because they're not allowed to use air conditioning in the city after the month of October and before the month of May. I do have a hidden suspicion though that was just some nonsense they told us so they didn't have to provide us with a room with air conditioning.

Despite that, we found the city to be quite a nice place to walk around, try different coffee shops, and meet friends who introduced us to nice restaurants. The people were so nice, we felt safe, and the shops looked very enticing!

Here are some photos of our stay in Geneva, if you would like to see.
